Musings on my South American sojourn. Part one takes place in Fortaleza, Brasil where I´m mentoring for a global youth leadership program. Parte Deux is set in Venezuela where I´ll be assisting on a delegation organized by human rights NGO Global Exchange. Stayed tuned for a hodgepodge of photos, haikus, narratives, vignettes, and more! Demonstrate your techno savoir faire (and love for me) by posting comments.

EWWWWWW!!! I HATE spiders! Did it crawl across anyone's chest because they were wearing a tiki idol?
The local staff had to kill then burn the poor tarantula because it has poisonous hairs on it that still sting even when the spider is dead. If you click on the picture, it will enlarge the photo. Youll be able to see the red hairs on it in the enlarged version. Ewwie. I guess Ill return that tiki idol I got you, Denise.
those red hairs are simply frightening! g-money
